Regeneration of all the regions would be diabled
Run the command /regen menu.
/regen menu
Click on the Toggle Menu (Green Wool).
Click on Enable / Disable (Green Wool).
You're done!
You can check whether regen is on or off in the lore of diamond ore in regen menu
